New boilers

Choosing a new boiler in Glasgow without the sales pitch

A boiler replacement is a big spend, so we start by looking at your home rather than a price list — how many bathrooms you have, how the current system is set up, and what the water pressure is like.

Most homes we visit end up with a combi, but we'll say so if a system boiler and cylinder suits you better. We install boilers from brands including Worcester, Baxi and Main, and we're happy to fit another make if you've already decided on one.

Every boiler installation in Glasgow is quoted as a fixed price before we start, so there are no surprises once the work is under way. Ask us for a boiler replacement quote and we'll explain what's included.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions we're asked most.

How often should I have my boiler serviced?

Once a year is the standard advice, and most manufacturers ask for an annual service to keep a warranty valid. A yearly check also picks up small faults before they turn into a breakdown in the middle of winter.

What does a boiler service include?

We check the boiler is operating safely and efficiently: combustion and gas pressure readings, seals and casing, the flue and ventilation, controls and safety devices, and cleaning components where needed. We then talk you through anything we've found.

When should I replace my boiler rather than repair it?

If the boiler is older, breaking down repeatedly, hard to get parts for, or the repair cost is getting close to the value of the appliance, replacement usually makes more sense. We'll give you an honest view either way rather than pushing a new boiler.

Can you repair all boiler makes?

We work on the vast majority of domestic gas boilers, including Worcester, Baxi and Main. If a part is obsolete or the appliance can't safely be repaired we'll tell you straight away.

How long does a boiler replacement take?

A straight combi swap is normally completed in a day. Moving the boiler position or changing the system type takes longer, and we'll confirm the timescale with your quote.

What areas around Glasgow do you cover?

All of Glasgow plus Greater Glasgow, East Renfrewshire, Paisley and Renfrewshire, East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, Inverclyde, Ayrshire and the Stirling and Falkirk areas. The Areas We Serve page has the full list.

Do I need a Gas Safe engineer to work on my boiler?

Yes. Any work on gas appliances in the UK must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. You can ask to see an engineer's Gas Safe ID card before work starts — ours are registered.
